Joel Rifkin, whose full birth name is Joel David Rifkin was born in New York on 20th of January 1959. He is a famous serial killer of the United States who was sentenced to kill nine women but it is believed that around seventeen women were killed by him. Most of the women that were killed by him were prostitutes who were addicted of drugs.
Although most of the prostitutes were hired in Manhattan and Brooklyn but all these women were killed by Joel Rifkin in New York from 1989 to 1993. He was living in the area of East Meadow which is an uptown area of the Long Island. John Lawrence who is a Mineola based attorney had represented Joel Rifkin during his trial period in the court.
Still the names of his parents are unknown as Jeanne and Bernard Rifkin had adopted Joel Rifkin when his age was three weeks only. Another kid (a girl) was adopted by this couple around after three years. His family shifted to East Meadow in 1965 where most part of his life was spent by him. Adoptive father of Joel Rifkin was suffering from cancer and to get rid of this disease, he committed suicide in the month of February 1987.
